How big does zuchinni get before you pick it?

You can pick a zucchini at any size. Most people think the flavour is good when the zucchini is between 6 and 8 inches long. As it gets bigger, the flavour changes, until it is fully grown at 24-30 inches, when it is a marrow, and has a rather watery not very pleasant flavour.
