Why do you have to wait to put on your belly percing?

Since the peircing hasn't healed yet it gives you a greater chance of infection or even losing the piercing. Also it would irritate it if you tried to switch the peircing. If you want to switch it early, wait atleast 3 months to do so. It probably wont be completely healed, but possibly healed enough to switch peircings
