Is the temple of the presence a cult?

The Temple of the Presence is definitely not a cult in the sociological sense, meaning there is no control of the members, no charismatic leader, no demand for money, and no mind control. Rather members have chosen to engage in the spiritual path offered by the Temple of the Presence, just like any other organized religious group. The fact that the previous reviewer does not share in these beliefs and has decided they are "delusional" and "sad" does not make the Temple of the Presence a cult, nor does it invalidate the truth of the teachings presented there. It simply represents one person's opinion about those teachings.
