How long does it take for general anesthetic to completely leave the system?

About 48 hours apparently, but I had mine first thing Tuesday morning and I still feel sleepy now - and its 3 days later. I was only under for 20 mins to have wisdom teeth out!! I think it depends how quickly your metabolism is generally. Obviously mine is in hibernation :(
