You can try taking this up with your healthcare providers, the social worker at a local hospital (not DHS) or your Human Resources group within your company.

It's not unusual for various healthcare providers to either skip over the co-pay (theoretically illegal for them but nevertheless it can happen), various drug programs can sell you meds with a deeply reduced co-pay too.

As to deductibles, be Certain you've read your contract and understand every Word. Some services have either very low or no deductibles at all. If that's the case, you can try and get some problems treated under one of the areas where the deductible has been met.

Finally, if your doctor writes a Letter of Medical Necessity to your carrier, they may be able to talk them into reducing the deductible.

Other than this, your alternatives are not very cheerful. Being insured excludes you from most zero-cost help. Cancelling your insurance may leave you with far worse coverage under state and federal programs, and there often is a "dead spot" after your insurance ends and the new care programs turn on.

Good luck.
