Natality in India, or the Birth Rate, has experienced a gradual decline over the years. As of recent statistics, the crude birth rate is approximately 19.5 births per 1,000 people. Factors contributing to this decline include increased access to education, especially for women, improved healthcare, and family planning initiatives. Despite the decrease, India remains one of the countries with the highest absolute number of births globally.
