Yes, I myself have tried the 18-in4 diet and lost 17.5 pounds in 4 days. I still continue to be on this diet till this day. It has helped me to lose over 100 pounds in 2 months. If you are looking to lose weight fast with chicken, beef, fruits, and vegetables this is definetly the way to go about doing it.
The 18-in-4 will help you lose water weight. Staying on it indefinitely like the paragraph above shows anorexic tendancies. There is a long term plan where you can start off extreme to get things going. Don't be tricked by the 18-4 "Formula" of only certain foods at certain times. That's just a ploy to make money - it wouldn't make him any money to say "just eat lean meat and vegetables." But that's it. Eating lean meat and vegetables IS the formula. Chicken and vegetables works best - especially when sticking to just leafy greens. Do it for a week or 2 to jumpstart your weight loss and rid your body of candida. Never plan on doing this if you are ever going back to eating packaged foods and too many starchy carbs on a regular basis again. The whole point will be lost, and you'll gain it right back. This is only a good stratedgy to speed up weight loss and transition to a healthy lifestyle. The only good diets I've seen that truly work over the long haul is The French Diet and the Zone. May this help someone and prevent them from the hellish pursuit of trying to find a diet that works.....or worse.......diet pills. I prefer the French diet as it is more realistic than the Zone. You can still enjoy food without too many limits. AJ
