Is Yuri Gagarin a Christian

At the time of Yuri Gagarin's orbital flight in 1961, the USSR was officially atheist. Referring to

Gagarin's flight in a speech some time later, Khruschev said that Gagarin " ... didn't see any

god up there". If Gagarin's personal convictions differed from the USSR's official policy, he kept

them to himself. Gagarin has been dead now for over 40 years.
