Where is the temperature sending unit on a 1999 Volkswagen beetle?

The unit is located right above the thermostat there are 2 units one for the radiator and one for the computer for the engine.The one in the back is the temp unit for the whole car which can b picked up at an auto shop for bout 10 dollars.To replace u first have to remove your airbox then u can easily access the uniut.
