What is the Shining Ladies' Tresses Orchid's range?

East of the Mississippi is the range of the Shining Ladies' Tresses Orchid (Spiranthes lucida).

Specifically, the orchid grows as far north along the eastern coast of the United States of America as Maine. It grows as far south as western Virginia. Westward, the orchid's range stretches into Tennessee, Illinois, and Wisconsin. It even may be found on the other side of the Mississippi River, into Kansas.
