What is the difference between a 1996 85hp Yamaha and the 90hp model?

If memory serves me right, the 85 hp model for 1996, was carbureted, while the 90 hp was fuel injected. Other than that, 5 hp.

Actually that's not right. The 90 also has carbs. The 85 doesn't have oil injection. The 85 has different porting which is the difference in HP.
