What if a guy always checks you out but whenever you ask him out he says no What does that mean?

I am having the exact same problem, although I just told him I liked him but he was with someone at the time. he's now single but no move even though the checking me out has continued. it's so frustrating. i feel for you. I really do. I think it's something to do with them being scared of girls, esp girls like what I'm sure you are, confident and friendly and nice. some guys are afraid to get into relationships with girls they really like because they are afraid that they might hurt you and do something wrong which they will regret. I think it all has to do with insecurities on a guy's part. He can't handle you i think!!! (which is in fact a compliment!) - that's what my friends tell me. He might be admiring you from afar but when it come to reality and going out with you, he's afraid he won't impress enough and maybe be a disappointment. hope that helps.
