What are four of the countries with the largest land areas in the Western Hemisphere?

The Western Hemisphere consists mainly of the Americas. The four countries of North and South America with the greatest land area are the United States (9,161,966 km2), Canada (9,093,507 km2), Brazil (8,456,510 km2) and Argentina (2,736,690 km2). It is important to note that land area is different from total area. Therefore, while Canada is the second largest country in the world in terms of total area, it is only fourth inland area. Additionally, there are some countries such as Russia and Algeria that are partially in the Western Henisphere that would alter this list significantly.
