Was considered a major strength for Union forces during the Civil War?

The biggest strength of the Union was assets of both men and money. The size of the Union army vastly dwarfed that of the Confederates. They also dwarfed the Conferacy in agricultural farming instead of cash crops. In addition, the Union had the largest number ammunition factories.
