Why does clutch grab on1982 fxr shovelhead when pulling out it has new clutch?

I don't know but I'm having the same prob, i just put new Red clutch discs and plates in my 1980 FXE 1200 and now the clutch grabs when letting it out cold but seems to get better when warmed up. It almost jerked me off the bike! big screeching sound, good thing no one was in front of me. I backed the 3 nuts off 3 clicks on the hub but still doing it. I'm thinking of putting my old discs back in still good.
