The main premise behind socialism, in my opinion, is that everyone is responsible for the economy and fundamental services. The system doesn't just leave everything up to private markets; it also makes sure that everyone can have basic goods like healthcare, education, and social safety nets. Supporters frequently say that this makes society more stable and less unequal because it meets people's basic needs. Critics, on the other hand, are sometimes worried that too much central supervision can make people less likely to come up with new ideas or work more efficiently. In reality, many countries don't pursue pure socialism; instead, they mix it with market economies. This is why the effects of those policies can be significantly different in the actual world.
