What is a creepy doll described as?

Dolls are usually thought of as creepy when they have odd, grotesque or expressionless facial features. Most of this can be attributed to dolls that are overly lifelike, an effect called the "Uncanny Valley," when people are unnerved by human like objects; they acknowledge their semblance to humans, but, at the same time, the knowledge that that sort of "humanity" is artificial unnerves people and makes many perceive that there is something "wrong" with those objects.
