How does the chase review work at the US Open?

The central court has ten cameras recording the ball at 52 frames per second. The computers in the broadcast booth compare each frame to the one before it, pixel by pixel, and filter out non-ball movements. Even then, the cameras are not likely to catch exactly where and when the ball hits the ground, so the computers take the feed from the five cameras on that side of the court and create the most likely ball trajectory for where the ball hit the ground. It is accurate to within 3.6 mm.
