If the finish is no longer new, you can start to add small amounts of household bleach. A tablespoon or two of bleach per gallon of water is a good place to start. If you get to the place where you're using half bleach and half water it's probably a good time to replace your furniture.

Any bathroom mildew cleaner should do it. If possible, you could always take them to the car wash and do it there.
