How long does it take to drive 2200 miles?

If you average 50 miles and hour (quite fast if you are going to stop for food and gas not even thinking about sleep) it would take 44 hours. Realistically you should plan on covering that distance (assuming highways and not off road travel) in about 5 or 6 days. but then you do not get to enjoy the scenery or explore the countryside

I did a trip about that long and it took me eight weeks (but I stopped at several friends for a few days at a time along the way).
