Did Adolf Hitler fight in WW1?

Yes he was a corporal in World War 1 in a Bavarian Regiment from 1914 to 1918. Hitler was injured at the end of the war he was blinded temporally by mustard gas in October 1918. He was in a military hospital when he heard that Germany surrendered.
