What indicates our sub consciousness in Islam?

In Islam, the subconscious is often reflected through the concept of the "nafs," which represents the self and its various states, including the lower self (nafs al-ammara) that inclines toward base desires and the higher self (nafs al-mutma'inna) that seeks peace and righteousness. Dreams and intuitive insights can also be seen as manifestations of the subconscious, often interpreted as messages or guidance from Allah. Additionally, one's thoughts, intentions, and hidden inclinations are considered indicators of the subconscious mind, influencing behavior and spiritual development.
