What do you do when a male friend tells you he's in love with you and he has positive feelings for you?

* If you are both available, and you are interested in him, just give him a little encouragement. He'll handle it from there. * If you are already taken, then politely tell (or remind) him so and that while you like him as well, you cannot break up one relationship for another because it is not fair on the other person. * If you aren't interested in him in return, tell him that even though you are friends and you like him, you simply don't feel the same way and he should find somone else. * If you are male as well and aren't comfortable with that, let him know that while you like him as a friend, you are not "that kind" and he should keep such feelings to himself. * If he is taken, then tell him to talk to his partner about it, and that he should destroy his own relationship just to make another one.
