What is the most fundamental of the physical sciences?

Cosmology details the chemical evolution of our universe, explaining the origin of the 92 naturally occurring elements. The fundamental forces of gravity, electromagnetism, strong and weak nuclear forces are all bound up in cosmology.

If I had to choose a fundamental branch of science, I would go with cosmology.
