The medical field is very promising for the future due to our aging population. So, I would recommend a career as a Biomedical technician. You can have a starting salary of about $40-45 thousand. After a little experience, you can make about $60-70 thousand. This career is for the individuals who work on and fix medical equipment ranging from Radiology equipment to MRI equipment. I work in the medical field and believe me, they are hot in demand. Most people are not suited to become physicians, but with a little schooling, a reasonably intelligent person could do really well in this field.
