What are baby sloths size and weight?

Baby sloths typically weigh around 1 pound (about 0.45 kg) at birth and are approximately the size of a small cat, measuring about 12 inches (30 cm) in length. They are born with a soft, fuzzy coat and cling to their mother's fur for warmth and security. As they grow, they gradually increase in size and weight, eventually reaching around 5 to 20 pounds (2.3 to 9 kg) as adults, depending on the species.
