How does gatoraid freeze?

Gatorade freezes similarly to water but has a lower freezing point due to its sugar and electrolyte content. The presence of sugars and salts disrupts the formation of ice crystals, causing the beverage to freeze at a temperature lower than 32°F (0°C). When Gatorade is placed in the freezer, it may become slushy before fully freezing due to these solutes. If left too long, it will eventually solidify, but not as solidly as pure water.
