What do silky sharks eat?

The Silky shark (Carcharhinus falciformis) is a very common pelagic shark and is an opportunistic predator that feeds mainly on bony fish, including tuna, ardines, mackerel scads, sea chubs, sea catfish and many other fish. It also feed on squids.

Due to its considerable size, the silky shark is regarded as potentially dangerous to humans.
