What lead to poverty?

The most common reason for people to go into poverty, is the fact they don't care about their life. They stay concentrated on never working in their life, so they don't get paid. They have to eat to survive, so they live off of food stamps. They end up either homeless, or in a bad credit cycle of paying rent on an apartment. 51% of America does not pay taxes because they don't earn paycheck, that can be taxed on. This is leading to the downfall of our current economy. It's sad to see a proudly strong and smart nation to into this...
