What is the role of media in good governance?

Media's role in good governance should be unbiased reporting/coverage of facts only. Facts should never be present as such if there is any degree of media personal bias. A disclaimer should always be made if any form of bias is presented as fact. Bias is personal preference or policy, and not necessarily based on fact.
