Who was Jobe from the bible?

The story of Job can be found in the book of Job. It is a dramatic poem and is probably the oldest book of The Bible, and was certainly written before the giving of the law. Job, a good man, suffered a great deal of personal tragedy. The entire book deals with the question, "Why do people suffer?"
