How is wind deflation different from wind abrsoin?

In contrast, wind abrasion involves the physical wearing away of surfaces as particles carried by the wind collide with and erode rocks or other materials. While deflation primarily alters the landscape by removing material, abrasion actively shapes and smooths surfaces through impact.
