Why is animal poaching happening?

Mostly its for the money. I honestly don't think it's fair, and I'm sure there are many people out there who feel the same. There are far too many poachers out there. Thankfully, it's also illegal. Disgracefully, people continue to do it. That's why poaching is a problem. It should have never been originated!

The people that raise the animals, for sport or food, spend a great deal of time and money doing so. Poachers are basically stealing the fruits of their efforts which may mean a loss of livelihood.

Poaching is the unlawful killing of wildlife. Game laws were created to help protect endangered or threatened animals, and to ensure the healthy continued population of other animals. Poachers take animals that should not be taken, or take too many, with the result that the wildlife may disappear entirely.
