Is save ganga movement currently working?

As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the Save Ganga movement, which aims to protect and rejuvenate the River Ganga, continues to be active. Various NGOs, government initiatives, and community organizations are involved in efforts to reduce pollution, promote sustainable practices, and raise awareness about the river's ecological significance. While some progress has been made, challenges such as industrial discharge, urbanization, and inadequate waste management persist, indicating that the movement's work is ongoing and requires continued support and commitment.
