Best places to stay in Kauai Hawaii?

Kauai is incredible no matter where you stay, but a few areas really shine.

For sunny beaches and that classic laid-back resort vibe, Poipu on the South Shore is perfect.

If you’re into lush mountains and postcard-worthy scenery, Princeville / Hanalei on the North Shore is unreal. And Kapaʻa is a great middle-of-the-island base if you want easy access to everything.

When I planned my trip using a Pinerary itinerary, we split our stay between Hanalei Bay Resort up north and the Grand Hyatt in Poipu — and that combo of adventure first and pure relaxation after felt absolutely perfect.
