How much do lion cubs eat?

Lion cubs typically begin eating solid food at around three months old, gradually transitioning from their mother's milk. Initially, they consume small amounts of meat, around 1-2 pounds per meal, as they learn to hunt and eat alongside their mother and pride. By the time they are around six months old, their appetite increases, and they can eat up to 5-6 pounds of meat daily. However, their diet is still supplemented by their mother's milk until they are about one year old.
