How you can build external TV tuner box using internal TV tuner card?

it means converting of a normal tv tuner (not a computer card. this tuner is an inbuilt assembly of a normal tv) into a capture unit for computer monitor. this is possible and practically successful idea but it needs a sufficient knowledge in electronics.

first of all you should understand the pin order of tv tuner. Second you should use the model no of that tuner and search on internet aboutits voltage and other data.

now you can identify theaudio video and tuning voltage and vhf uhf changing voltage etc..

now select a suitable power supply. Use small co axe cables....job nearly finished.

if you understand this article then you may try it. a big challenge is 90v.you can overcome it by a couple of methods.one is inverter and other is pulsating method.
