How do you remove the entire spool on a Troy Bilt TB525EC?

After popping off the bump cap, one might assume the inner reel would just slide out. One would be wrong. The inner reel must be unscrewed in the same direction as the two arrows on the inner reel (counter-clockwise). Put on a pair of gloves, grab the inner reel in one hand and the base next to the outer spool in your other hand. Then twist until it unscrews. Good luck!
