Lincoln was shot on Good Friday, April 14, 1865, at Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C., while watching a play entitled "Our American Cousin". Afterwards, he was taken across the street and laid on a bed in a boarding house. He died the next day, 15th, at 7:22am.
