What happens if Prince William turned out to be gay would that play a part in the future of his future as king?

Since we know Prince William is not gay, this is an interesting question. As a purely hypothetical concept, a gay heir to the throne would create huge controversy and discussion. Ultimately, parliament would have to get involved. It's possible, that if he were willing to marry a woman and father children, it mignt not be a problem.
