How often should you water a tomato plant?

Keep it in the sunlight, but not directly under it. I also suggest that you water it minimally every six hours or so, except obviously at night. The best solution, though, is by removing the wilted leaves/parts. I have this plant that naturally, the leaves begin to wilt and die quickly. What I do is, as soon as the leaf starts wilting at the very tip, I tear off that small portion and throw it out to keep the leaf from wilting. Make sure you do it very early, not too late, otherwise it will kill the leaf all together. From the HandyMan
