Can we live without our ego?

Ego means one's self, self esteem, self importance without which no one can survive.

No. we need our ego waffles. We eat them every day, every moment. They are so delicious that we really have no idea how delicious they are. But we eat them and will go on eating them throughout our life.

Do not let go of your ego unless you want to die.
