Where is the interior backlighting dimmer located on the Solara?

If you're referring to instrument lighting take a look at the stem you press to zero/toggle the trip meters. Turning that stem left will dim the instrument lighting, to the right brightens. That's the procedure for the Gen II (04 and later) Solara. The Gen I may be different. The information is in your owner's manual.
