How do you do the division symbol on the keyboard?

In math the division sign can be either a slash: / or a dash with a dot above and below it: ÷

The / is the normal forward slash usually sharing the question mark key.

The ÷ can be created by holding down the ALT key and typing in the number 246 on the number pad.
