What are cool hairstyles for a fourteen year-old boy with brown hair?

A lot of people in High School (or 14) do an "emo", "skater", or "surfer" type hairstyle. All these hair styles pretty much consist of layered hair, which means it is cut different sizes in different places. If you have brown hair, most people usually also do highlights. For brown hair, it would be better to do blonde, or other lighter colors such as a lighter brown for a contrasting effect. I let my hair grow long around 2 -3 inches and let I go all forward then it curves naturally to the side right in front of my eyes, skater and emo at the same time!
