No. Carbohydrate is basically sugar ... the sugar that ones was in in the MASH to become Whisky is after fermentation 50/50 converted to 1) alcohol that stays and 2) carbon dioxide that leave the the mash.

If the interest is weight related... alcohol still contain a lot of energy... that you have to "burn" in your body.

Good thing is though that Alcohol don't rise your blood sugar level... nice from GI perspective

A 5 cl shot of whiskey is to compare with about 25-30 gram white sugar from a energy point of view. or 140 Kcal or a good 15-20 minutes on the bicycle.
