What kind of brake fluid go in to a 2000 dodge neon?

DOT3 or 4. Opened bottles will absorb moisture over time, a good rule of thumb is buy a new bottle, close tight after use, write the date on it, and trash it if it's 1/2 empty or 6 months old.
