Is it true that dryer sheets placed between the sheet and mattress will deter beg bugs?

we've got bed bugs in my building and i just now got off the phone with my best friend who said to use the dryer sheets and put double stick tape on the bed legs so the bugs get stuck leaving the bed. i am trying it tonight! I'll get back to you if i get results.

AnswerI don't know.....but on the off chance that it really does work, why not try it. What do you have to lose? (besides a couple of dryer sheets!)

You also might try diatomaceous earth. I have heard that it works against bed bugs and it is not a chemical.
