How to change a fuel pump on 1984 Chevy pick up?

You have to drop the fuel tank, disconnect the fuel lines, turn the hold down ring to loosen lid, lid holds the pump to the tank then pull out fuel pump from within the fuel tank it will be attached to the lid with the fuel lines running through it.
