How do you change the front brake pads on a 94 Mazda B4000?

They change out like any other disc set up. My problem is exacting the head size of the keeper bolt. Not 5/8 sae and my metrics don't fit it. Guess I'll by the 2 others apx that size. These are Ford Rangers and built in Flint Mich.. I can't find diagrams that affect this situation.
